Think about it They spend lot's of bucks on Vladimir Radmanovic and he's tanking.
Glen Rice, Isaiah Rider, Dennis Rodman even ... players that are good that just die in the Laker system.
George McCloud, Cedric Ceballos, Sam Bowie ... m'god the list just goes on!

Think about it this way. Even the best of teams don't win every year. And not every player can play for the Lakers coaches. I think Ceballos was a better Sun than a Laker. Rice better w/ the Heat. McCloud? Who the "Bleap" is that? And if you ask 90% of hoops fans they'd say "Sam Bowie, so what."
The players you listed are journeymen, players that get traded 3 at a time for an All-Star, (except Rice). And in Rice and Rodman's cases it was nearing retirement time for them. So no the Lakers are not "player killers". Now Kobe can kill your reputation. But that's another story.

i admire Ariza, yet hes no longer grasping. He turn into only unwise and not savy adequate to attain he had greater to lose than the Lakers did. Hes from weschester, went to UCLA, and hopped around the league and found a appropriate greater healthy with the Lakers. This youngster turn into phenomal for the Lakers. yet after vastly contributing to the Lakers quest for that ring, he believed he observed his inventory upward push. even regardless of the undeniable fact that it particularly didnt, we could turn the script, what if he didnt make a contribution to the Lakers fulfillment? what then? Hes only yet another youthful participant that under no circumstances did a lot of something interior the league interior the few yrs hes been in. properly he didnt and he had a great year. From a enterprise stand element hes had one stable year out of how many seasons? 4 or 5? And now like each youthful athlete he needed his money after exhibiting he could be a contributor. properly as a remember of certainty hes a function participant. function gamers dont get the settlement him & his agent seeked. and that i cant blame him for that, i for my area cant. yet whats 2-4 million additional money going to do for you? Is it properly worth leaving the Lakers? the opportunities of having yet another ring? enjoying in marketable L.A.? Your place of origin?! Taking a majority of those factors into attention it seems as though hes grasping yet hes particularly no longer, it only confirmed that he wasnt conscious that the Cons heavily out-weighed the experts in leaving L.A. I enjoyed em, yet on an identical time, if his heart wasnt in l. a. then it only wasnt, you cant tension the guy. thank you for helping convey the 09 championship to l. a. and that i wish you the superb Trevor!!

no...
why?
players get old
some players start to depend on their teammates too much
they start too get too much confident and foegets who they really are and some players are good but doesnt go well with the plays of the new team they have, they just dont go with the team.

if you watch the nba for the last 5 seasons...you will see that the best team doesnt win the championship...the team that strives hard and works hard for the championship wins it....teamwork....hustle....heart....
look at the lakers when they had guys like karl malone anf gp added to their team? they are the best team that year, and they didnt win because the pistons got more teamwork, hustle and heart.
