My band is joining a Battle of the Bands here in Dubai, UAE. The lead singer's a girl, actually my sister (crap!). Anyway, I need some good rock songs that'll work for our band.

play an easy song, but play it dead on. It's better to play an easy song well than to play a hard song poorly, crowds don't usually know the difference.

but you should probably play something your band really knows how to play well - no point learning a new song a week before and it sounding crap and your band loosing, just choose something your band can play really well.

"Take it Off" via the Donnas easily has a video the place they carry out the music at a severe college opposition. Your question jogged my memory of it. A music like that rather gets people going. with a bit of luck something like it particularly is highschool suited.
