Our eating of other animals is a natural part of the food chain. We are no more in the wrong for killing and eating animals any more than a cheetah killing and eating an elk. (And if you think we are cruel, you obviously haven't seen a cheetah catch an elk. Besides, if we can kill shellfish by boiling, why not chickens? Just cuz the lobster doesn't squeal as loud as the chicken, doesn't make it right. ;-) ) If we weren't meant by nature to eat them, they would be poisonous.
I do not approve of hunters who kill animals and then leave them or dump them without actually making use of the animal in some way. Senseless killing of an animal with no purpose aside from personal pleasure is not appropriate and certainly not as nature intended. Pleasure killing is a product of social arrogance propagated by the illusion that we live in a world of abundance.
Did you know that most products actually say "Final product not tested on animals?" This mostly translates to "everything up to, but not including, the final product may have been tested on animals."
It's important to pay careful attention to the language that's used by advertising. The entire purpose is to make you believe what THEY want you to (that you want it/that it's good for you)...NOT necessarily the truth. Typically, you get as little truth as they can legally get away with telling you. (Things like "fine print", "Terms & Conditions", and "Some restrictions and limitations may apply.")

A majority of the animal cruelty 'facts' revolving around KFC are actually rumors that were blown out of proportion by PETA.
Don't believe anything that PETA says. It's mostly bogus. I hope a new animal rights group can start and not be as naive towards mankind.

anybody who eats animals (including myself) are engaging in murder and thus are cruel.
It's all a matter ofperspective. KFC isn't the only guilty party.
Their customers are equally as guilty.
Makeup products use insects.
Bodyshop and other "beauty specialty shops" use products which are "cruelty free", but do you know that merely means that while they do not test on animals, it doesn't mean the ingredients haven't been tested on animals in the past.
They still use ingredients which are tested on animals by OTHER companies.
Again, it's a matter of perspective.

Yes, there have been reports of their suppliers workers stomping live chickens. KFC was made aware of the issue but still uses some of the abusive suppliers. I do NOT eat at KFC !

If you think of the mere fact that they kill so many just so we can eat them, of course, it is horrible. Would you like to be a cow or a chicken in this country? And that is your whole life, just being raised to be eaten?
I also hate when people go out to kill a deer on purpose, and then make a big deal when a human gets shot while hunting!

kfc is now called this because the actual percentage of "white meat" served there is no longer allowed to be called chicken. therefore they changed the name from kentucky fried CHICKEN to kfc.

This is a vicious lie. Poultry processing plants DO NOT kill birds by plunging them into scalding water. The birds are killed by electric current (a stunner). The current is strong enough that it kills the birds instantly, so there is no suffering.
