what you need to do is simple. get one of your checks and make it out to the local police department....then, sign her name where the signature goes.....on the back write "we need to talk" (leave it where she'll find it)... she'll get the picture because here it is. Once the bank begins the process it will be up to you to press charges....but, if the amounts get too high the bank will press charges without needing your consent. What she has done is a felony and she can do serious time for it. By the way, she isn't a friend......at least anymore. And, you need to face that fact and start looking for a new roommate. good luck.

I had a friend do that to me before. Yes it's tough when you deal with "friendly" emotions. The police asked me if I wanted to press charges and I said "NO". People will say I was (am) stupid, but I realized that we all make mistakes-sometimes very big ones. Obviously your friend is in need of $$$$ otherwise this would not be the situation. If you can find it in your heart to forgive and move on, do it. I do believe you must have your guard up at all times with this girl. Start looking for a new roomate if you don't feel in your heart that she's not truly repentive. By the way the friend I mentioned above comitted suicide about three years ago, I was so glad that I could forgive her and move on. Life is too short to hold a grudge.

Duh ! She isn't going to tell you. That's why she forged your name. You better believe it will change your friendship as in you aren't friends anymore. You need to prosecute the hell out of her. Then you need to either find a new roommate or find a new place to live. Get a grip on this. Can't you see she is a thief? She's breaking the law. You have every right to be mad. Don't sit back and let her get away with it ! She deserves what's coming to her.

Be mad !!! She is stealing from you if she is forging your signature. There will come a point when you will be refused credit, through no fault of your own. You should cancell your cheque book right away, use a chip & pin card instead and don't let her get hold of your pin number. Also you should contact the police, she is afterall a fraud and a theif. teach her a lesson.

You need to be more than just mad. You need to put your foot so far up her butt that you can see your toes wiggling in the back of her throat! Kick her and all her belongings to the curb and find a new roommate. She was never a friend if she could do something like this to you, so just move on sweetie. And think about it: Would you tell someone you're robbing them blind? I think NOT!!!

how long have u been friends?
u should talk to her and ask her "what's up?" and tell her that u know what she's doing and u would wanna help her (if u want to), but she gotta tell u whats the prob..
get a new roommate if u dont feel that u can't trust her anymore..
but at least give her a chance to explain.. 'cos maybe she's going through a lot right now...

If it is her tell her how disappointed you are. After that kick her butt and everything else about her to the curb. Forgery is a very serious crime. Who knows what else she's doing in your name.
