As I am going to move in a house without the normal taps for washing machines, but the landlord claimed that I can fit a front load washer into the space which used to put a dishwasher. When I went to the shop and ask for a front load washer, the keeper told me that I cannot put a front load washing machine in a space which used to put dishwasher, because they are of totally different design.

Does anyone know that if it's possible to do so?

You should be able to fit it in but may have gaps on the side in your cabinetry. There is a difference in a washer setup and a dishwasher setup though. First, you would probably only get one temperature of water.

They do make apartment washer/dryers that run on 110 power (if you are in the US) and pump excess water into the drain. You can hook them up in the bathroom or kitchen and move them around on wheels. They're considerably expensive but not as bad as modifying a space where a dishwasher is supposed to go.

Yes, but you are going to have to have a carpenter and plumber do some work to get it in. It is going to cost you to have the cabinet modified so the washer will fit and the plumbing changed.

If the unit will fit you should be able to install it, as long as you can connect the drain to the sink drain.
