Are we to believe that our entire universe is but a myriad of electrical signals and patterns that our brains tell us are the physical reality that we experience in our day to day lives?

If that's true how do we know we are not enslaved within a framework of electronic information that was designed for us by what we call 'God'?

All you can say is that that's as real as real gets. And we can never know if we are enslaved in magic electro brain slave helmets or not. Maybe this is all a dream? Maybe there is a teapot orbiting mars. Has anyone ever looked close enough?

The point is you can never be 100% sure of anything. The trick is to find out how to get as close to 100% as possible. There are some things that are useful to consider and others that are not. Those that are undetectable and arbitrary and untestable may be interesting to consider for fun but have little use in the "realer" world.

Bertrand Russell and Daniel Dennett have a lot to say about philosophy that might interest you. http://plato.stanford.edu/ is the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.

A very rhetorical question.

Why is electromagnetic NOT real? You're reading this that comes from electromagnetic transmissions and receptions of digital signals. Your question was posted the same way. Neither has a physical form, other than as discretizations of electron distributions.

To carry your argument further, if all is only electromagnetic, then doesn't that apply to you as well? Are you real? Are your thoughts, desires, and other unvoiced and unposted questions real?

Actually, quantum mechanics defines what "touching" quite is. It constitutes the trade of drive sporting digital debris among truly debris comprising the quark and lepton households. As you are saying, the sector we are living in is most likely electromagnetic area interactions, with a bit of gravity to force our up-signs.

i agree that the electronic world that enslaves us is real, but i can not label god as responsible for all.of further on that mater, accountable.
