Because it can mess you up marajuana is a drug and people can make money out of it. It make you act crazy and stupid and it also mess with your brain. I agree that marajuana do have a cure for a medicine? But the law say it illegal? It s a felony.

It was initially made illegal due to certain business interests. Certain people and corporations stood to gain millions of dollars if it was banned and these same people were the very ones who were able to make sure it was outlawed. Because it DOES have dangerous long term effects. Yes so does alcohol but I've seen too many people screwed up cus they went on dope, and I'm a stoner myself.

Marijuana can cause psychosis/schizophrenic disorders in young users, it elicits classic anxiety and paranoia, it impairs short-term memory and some brain functions, slows reaction time, it can cause hallucinations at high doses, and the smoke is hell on your lungs.
In other words, it's bad for you, and makes you a serious annoyance to non-stoned society.
It's prescribed medicinally in some states when a doctor determines that the benefits (i.e. lowering intraocular pressure) outweigh the negative factors.

First it is illegal in Canada. It is illegal because it is a drug that can kill and can seriously inhibit ones cognitive ability. It is also proven to be harmful to the body. The only medicating it does is relieve pain.

Medical marijuana is given to terminally ill patients to ease their pain. It doesn't cure anything, and since it does horrible things to your body they figure if you're already dying, you can go ahead and smoke the stuff so you don't die in as much pain.

Sick people are not ginen this but a refined combintion with other drugs.It is a pain killer not a cure for sickness.

BELIEVE ME!!!!!! POT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDIOT IF YOU SMOKE IT LONG TERM.I'M GLAD I quit when i realized what it was doing to me.Alcohol should be against the law too.
