all the ebay email scam/con's are from idiots over seas sitting in coffee shops sending out bulk fake emails hoping that just 1 is dumb enough to click through it all and give their info, in turn gaining them thousands.
on ebay itself....so many dead beat a-holes that are selling junk that they positioned just right to hide all damage, marks, etc in the pics. then describe it all high and mighty when its nothing more than a 50 cent piece of junk they got at a garage sale.
then you get the jackasses that are flat broke and won't sell their items but list like 50 items for sale, collect all the money from paypal and vanish never to be heard from again. since it was all $20 or so dollar thefts, no police or FBI agency is gonna spend the time on it unless its all within one area and one agency see's the amount of theft as a whole.
sad world when you have a better chance of being scammed on ebay than catching a STD.

Ebays bad when the seller does not have a real picture of the item. Especially when its a large amount of money selling. Also i hate the way people just buy loads of things so the product goes out of stock and they make more money on Ebay!

It is the nature of human beings to try to scam, con and otherwise take unfair advantage of anyone they can.
It is a sad compentary on how far humanity has not come today.
It almost seems like it is a genetic predisposition by humans to do anything possible to beat the other guy.
If this is a demostration of the concept of "survival of the fitest" then for my money you can have evolution.

Me , but unless the EBAY management do something about it, we are stumped, and as it is to make money I don't think it will change, what gets me most is the post cost that are way over the top, especially from Hong Kong and China, but in GB as well, the other day a guy wanted £10 to post me something in a small envelope.

he con I fell foul to was eBay's promise that they'd do something if something went wrong with a transaction.
I purchased a hard drive that never appeared at my address. I contacted eBay, who gave me the offender's telephone number, after their unsuccessful attempts at contacting him. I attempted to rectify matters by speaking with the person, only to have the phone slammed down on me. I contacted PayPal, a subsidiary of eBay, only to be told that my complaint was being dealt with by eBay.
Sum total, no hard drive, nor return of money. Both eBay and PayPal were absolutely useless. It's almost as though they condone illegal activity, seeing as they're getting their cut of the profits.

eBay, is one thing, either you make it on eBay or you don't. There are a lot of Scams going on there like DOS (Denial of Service) Scams, I.D. Thieves, AutoBots just to name a few. But the worst is PayPal, eBay's corrupt sub-company. PayPal screws a lot of people. Just like it did me. Go to www.paypalsucks.com , to read more about eBay and Paypal's Scams...

I'm tired of E-bay. Their fees are ridiculous. No wonder so many cons are on there! Honest people can't afford to make money on that site!

Ebay is just bad. No customer support, little security... Some day Google will come out with Gbay (of course they'll have a more creative name) and destroy them and their evil ways...
