I couldn't think of anything except the pain!
My first i had pain relief and it wasnt too bad, but my second....whohhhh..i barely made it to the hospital...i got up to the room fell on my knees..had contraction after contraction for 15 minutes nonstop...it was the worst pain i have ever felt in my life..i couldnt breathe it was so bad...
In saying all of that..the second you see that little face you forget everything..it is amazing how you can be going through the worst pain in your life and as soon as you see your baby it doesnt matter.
I cant say im ready to go through it again..but it was definitly worth it.

Of course. I started to cry when my gynae told me that my baby will be coming out either tonight or maybe the next day. The feeling is confused actually - happy to meet the baby but at the same time afraid of what is going to happen and how should I handle the giving birth situation which I have never experience before.

Well, if you're just about to give birth, then all you are probably feeling is excruciating pain and there's no room for any other thoughts. If it is a little prior to that, then yes, you feel scared and excited all at the same time. Well, that's how I felt anyway.

Scared with both of mine, until the time came to have them. By then I was just ready to get it over with. You're feeling so miserable by the time it comes to having them you don't think about how scared you were to begin with. But by the time it's all over with you forget about the pain and everything you went through before birth.

Excited, Scared, Painful, Nervous, so many emotions at once but once the baby's born all the fear parts are gone instantly and you just feel nothing but so much more love than you ever thought possible

The first time I was scared--the second time it happened so fast, I didn't have time to even think about it. (she was born in the car on the way to the hospital)--The third time I was relieved--the fourth time I scared again because there was problems.--and then there was more feelings of joy than anything else

It's just a rushed feeling. It feels like a lot of pressure and bad cramps. It's over so fast you don't think much about it. I didn't.
