I'm a 17 year old senior in high school, and for the last year and a half I've had a crush on this girl. But as I began to get to know her, she became one of my best friends. My feelings for her haven't changed though. I still love her. I still find myself thinking bout her at every free moment that I have. For God's sake, it's 2:37 in the morning and I'm up talking about her. There's just so much about her that I love, and I want to tell it all to her; how just seeing her smile makes me smile, how when she laughs I can't help but laugh back, how her beauty is what I imagine angels to look like. I want to tell her, but I just don't know if it's worth it. What if i tell her and she says no? Things would be awkward, and I just know that our friendship would be ruined. But, what if she says yes? I know I could never forgive myself if I don't tell her how I feel. But, though I may not know that much about love, I also know that I would rather have her as a friend than as nothing at all.

you sound like such a sweetheart! when i was your age i had alot of guy friends and im sorry but that might be all she thinks of you as. does she ever talk about other guys with you? if she does but she acts kinda wierd about it she might like you and be uncomfortable about talking about someone else. but if she has no problem talking about someone she might like than im thinking she just considers you a good friend! its kinda hard to say! just keep being a good friend to her, dont try take advantage of her and maybe she will see you as someone she may want to start a relationship with in the future.
maybe you could go hang out just the 2 of you, movies, pizza, walks, and just see how things go, but dont just go and try to kiss her and put the moves on her right away that will only ruin it for you, maybe just kinda gradually touch her hand, her arm see how she reacts to it, just go slow! tell her how much you have fun with her.
best of luck to you-

Wow. If I were 17 again, I'd love for someone like you to tell me he loved me. I can see why you're hesitant to tell her your feelings. It is hard to admit to someone you have feelings for them. Maybe you could say something like "If I told you that I have feelings for you, what would you say?" If it takes her a while to answer, don't lose hope. Good luck.

I think you should tell her. You don't want to look back with a 'what if' attitude on life. Make sure to tell her what you just wrote, she'd be able to better understand your way of thinking if you did.

well, if you don't tell her your feelings and she hooks up with another guy then your friendship will be messed up anyways. you have nothing to loose. tell her how you feel. what you wrote is soooooo sweet. any girl in her right mind would not reject you. good luck!!!
