In regards to all those who keep mentioning El Nino ...
El Nino is a weather phenomenon. It is a majour warming of equilateral waters. The El Nino characteristics have been altered due to Global Warming in the past few years, and is one of the reasons why Australia is suffering through one of the worst droughts in possibly hundreds of years. I know, because I live in Australia.
So anyway, El Nin-Yo is most likely just a play on words if at all. El Nino is actually traditionally pronounced 'Elle-Nin-Yo' and means Little Boy, or The Little Boy.
So, the song title most likely means just that.

It is actually 'El Nino" which means, 'little boy' in spanish. It is a major warming of the equatorial waters in the Pacific Ocean. El Nino events usually occur every 3 to 7 years, and are characterized by shifts in "normal" weather patterns

It's "el niño". It's in spanish.
"el" means "the"
"niño" means "boy"
EL NIÑO -- a weather phenomenon characterized by intense heat from the sun and consequentially drought-- is a proper noun. I don't think that's what TATA meant in the song. Maybe she meant "yo kid" or something like that. I haven't heard the song yet.
