My CDrom drive is LG, did any bying of software will do this,as i don't bye DVD drive at this time, reply me soon.

You cannot play DVD discs on a CD-ROM drive. The technologies are different. It's not a matter of software. You will need to upgrade your CD-ROM to a DVD-compatible drive. If you just want to play DVDs you can get a "combo" drive (read-only for DVDs; read-write for CDs). But just a few extra bucks will get you a DVD-RW, which can read and write both CDs and DVDs.

Sorry Dude - You need a DVD drive to read a DVD. A CD drive does not have the physical ability to read DVDs, as they are an entirely different format than a CD. No software can change the physical limitations of a CD drive.
Try Newegg.com or Tiger direct or ??? and buy one for $40. If that much...

CD & DVD players, although looking pretty much the same from the outside, are quite different. The lens on a CD player is incapable of reading the tracks on a DVD

Not possible. Completely different laser system is involved. DVD drive is like $25 in the US (as burners are like $40-60) so buying a DVD drive is your only solution.

u have to buy dvd player
