There's two types of people in the world...owners and blamers. Blamers run from their problems, I think to keep some little comfort in holding on to the notion that they're victims. It becomes familliar. always something to fall back on and blame anything or everything on. Owners understand that their lives are in their own hands and live life accordingly. Searching for truth and solving problems immidiately, knowing that they don't go away on their own.

I believe we all, to varying degrees, want to avoid pain - mental or physical.
Some 'run' from their problems because of the fear of being hurt or what others may think of us.
Some fear the consequences of 'stopping' and tackling problems head-on.
The problem with running away from problems is that they either catch up with you eventually or the emotional effects of having them unresolved or 'lurking around' in the 'background' (emotionally) continues to haunt you and possibly affect your behaviour in mild or adverse ways.
I reckon there would be many more happy people in this world, if they 'stopped', tackled their problems and learnt to move on with a clear, content (hopefully) mindset.

It is easier to run from them then face them. If we face them we may have to make a decision.
The decision we make will have an impact on our future or something important to us, the result is that we put it off, try to ignore it because we are scared of the unknown.

Because it is a response developed from nature for survival. It is called "fight or flight". If our brains process situations or environments as dangerous or too much for us to handle, one must flee. Even in situations where there is no escape, say a car accident, the mind will "black out " memories that are too fear responsive.

i don't run from problems though. however, being irrational triggers when in problematic situation. thus, running away from it without realizing its consequences might be the at hand solution to be eased up somehow.

We delay the solution of our problems in order to forget them,
But as soon as we deal with them
we need to face them and find a quick and realistic solution

I have been doing that since I was a young boy. But I do firmly believe we must put an end to that if we wish to turn our life around and lead it more fulfilling. Cheers.
