Um..ok im doing a research paper on Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein and i'm trying to come up with a thesis statement talking about elements of Gothicism in her book.

these are my statements

1. In mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, elements of Gothicism are expressed.

2.Mary Shelley's Gothic Novel Frankenstein uses several supernatural elements to give the noval its nightmare feel.

I need help. Is thesis 2 way off the subject ...or...wha?

No, it's not off the subject, but you should list the elements in your thesis to make it stronger, considering that's what your body paragraphs should be about.
Also you should use a term such as "Although" or "Because" in your statement.

Ex:
Because Mary Shelley's novel, Frankenstein, uses elements of Gothicism, such as (element 1), (element 2), and (element 3), they give the book its nightmarish feel.

Basically, you're on the right track... You just need to make your statement stronger.

I haven't read Frankenstein in a while, and since you didn't include the requirements for your paper, I can only take a guess...so take my advice with a grain or two of salt.

#2 sounds like more of a traditional thesis statement. What you might do is give the major examples that you're going to examine. For instance:
"Mary Shelley's Gothic novel Frankenstein uses several supernatural elements to give the novel its nightmare feel, including ____, ____, and _____."

A thesis statement is the roadmap for the paper...therefore, it should sum up what you are going to try to prove.

except a thesis which will be about how this form of thinking ended in 30 years of sucking the existence out of the middle-attractiveness, i will’t get up with one. My thesis will be why this statement is so very, very wrong.

You are not supposed to restate the question in your thesis. I would explain how it is involved with Gothicism. Then elaborate in your main body paragraphs.
