Why are democrats almost always wrong?

All they want to do is raise taxes, give to the poor who never even try to get jobs. Waste more tax payers money. They have no plan for the future of social security which republicans are trying to save rightfully so. They also support illegal immigration, because they refuse to do just about anything about it. BIll Cllinton sealed the fate of any manufacturing job in the united states, but signing NAFTA. Support most unethical of all, gay marriage. And worst of all, they oppose the war in Iraq. So, democrats would rather us fight in our own cities rather than in Iraq? Thanks to democrats the middle class of america is being pushed out. Eventually, you're either going to be really rich or really poor. This will just sky rocket crime, drugs, and terrorism. Every terrorist is having a party tonight knowing that democrats have taken over the house and senate; and unfortuantely probably the white house as well in a couple years. How embarrassing

i completely agree. democrats are very uneducated when it comes to whats right for our country. i personally dont want to pay taxes for people who could work for themselves. we shouldnt give welfare to people just sitting on their butts. welfare should be earned through a steady job... and pay. and how is it bush's fault for 9/11. he hadn't even been in office for a whole year. did you know that what happens in one presidents' term is a reflection of the president before him/her? because clinton was too lazy to do anything... we are in this predicament with the middle east. and it is important to be in iraq. sadaam was like hitler. he murdered 500000 of his own people. we needed to get him out of there before he massacred anymore people. we are helping the country recover. it took more than a year to build rome.. so being in iraq will take a little while.

im embarrassed that democrats are in control of congress. and im also afraid of how downhill we are going to go with democrats leading us.

Raising taxes was done by Republicans. Wasn't it Bush who said no new taxes and then raised taxes. Just how do you plan to pay back the loans the US took from China and other nations to wage a stupid war in Iraq? Last I checked Ossama Bin Ladden is in Afghanistan or Pakistan.
Social security was balanced along with the budget under Clinton. Don't even bother with the stupid argument about the republican congress did it. Because we have a republican congress and they squandered 8 trillion dollars. We have a 3 trillion deficit and 8 trillion debt. All Republican doing. Oh yea bureaucracies. Bush started the biggest ever Home land buffoonary. So far they invented the red light green light system like engineer Bill. Brilliant and for this we waste billions of dollars. We have pedophiles in HLS, one caught on Dateline another caught in a similar way. He was third from the top. Republicans are anti Gay. Great but they seem to be Gay go figure. Foley and how many others and the wonderful evangelical meth snorting gay who is anti gay. Only a Republican would vote against his own interests for the good of no one.
No one wants illegal imigration. A logical solution is a work program not a fence. More border patrol will cost more money. Besides this is a phony problem. These people come here and work. They do the jobs you won't And forget the pay being higher you won't pay what it cost for fruit if it was picked at minimum wage.
There is no evidence of us fighting a war here. We are not even fighting a country. It's a total disaster thought up by a man who has no brain.If anyone is killing the middle class it is the Republicans handing out corperate Welfare to Haliburtin and other large oil companies like BP. The reason why Republicans want a smaller government is because they don't know how to make government work. The other problem is that if they wanted that why did they make it bigger. No the Democrats did not make homeland security and gut FEMA. This is the equivalent of the Gestapo. So you should be happy. Because they are ahead of the country overall in the number of services (necessary and unnecessary) government provides the people. And Democrats have pushed for that. But then Democrats have also pushed for higher and higher taxes to pay for those services. And California is so far ahead in services and taxes there's about to be a revolt, not violent of course. While California will vote for a Republican occasionally for President or Governor their legislature has been controlled by liberals for decades. Their budget has been on the edge or under funded for so long that this current down turn has them about $40B short just this year. If you believe the government can solve 'everything' and someone else will have to pay for it, you vote for Liberal Democrats. If you believe that government causes more problem than it fixes, and you realize the it doesn't matter who sends the check to the government is you who pays the taxes you don't vote for Liberal Democrats. Oh by the way. I live in one of those ignorant redneck states. We had a budget surplus last year and we expect to have one this year too. Our unemployment is below the national average. Our banks are solvent, and while house prices have fallen they haven't fallen far. To the person who said we are under educated. We may be. But we don't lack common sense.

You're wrong, and all of the answers here are wrong.
There is only a slight difference between a Democrat and a Republican.
They are all Americans, just like the rest of us.
We have been tolerating, all of the things you mentioned, during Republican and Democrat control of the house and senate, we have been in useless wars, during both also. The only difference between the two is what they spend the tax money on. The Republicans like to spend the money on bridges to nowhere. The Democrats like to do stuff such as raising the minimum wage, then raising taxes on the rich (big business). The rich raise their prices on goods and services, thus eliminating any gain from a minimum wage increase. All the talk about liberal and conservative is a bunch of hogwash, that is why there are moderates. They hate abortion, but love the death penalty. They hate guns, but love to hunt. They know we need a strong military, but cut the budget. Another name for a moderate is, A wishy-Washy. claim to be one thing, but act like something else. All politicians are middle of the road, they have to be, or they would never get elected. I think it is time for the government to do only the things they are mandated to do by the constitution. They need to stay out of the stuff that the states should be doing. If Florida doesn't want abortion, then if somebody wants one, they can go to a state that allows it. If two guys want to get married, let them go live in a state that recognizes gay marriage. If Missouri wants to harvest stem cells, then let them. If the Dems want to pull out of Iraq, then pull out. Who cares what the terrorists think. If they consider it a victory, then thats fine. I am comfortable with it, because 70% of my fellow Americans said lets get out. Who cares if people will think we are weak. France has had that stereo-type for decades, but the are still a considerable force to be reckoned with. We can hold our own in foreign policy department. I think if we pull out, the terrorist will have nothing to die for in Iraq, and they will stop their killing of innocents.

Hello I'm a democrat
We like to raise the taxes of the rich to help the rest of the country and make improvements. Were do you think the money comes from to run a country, the Republicans just want to spend every thing.
do you think poor people like to be poor? My family used to live off of welfare and when i was a baby Bush Senior cut funding for my baby food stamps. when we needed to eat who was there to help us. my mom got her education and we have moved up to middle class and my sister has been able to go to Harvard. and i will follow in their foot steps and help people less fortunate to that people can live with the money they need.
No one supports Illegal immigration. we just want to make things more fair for people to come into this country with an American dream.
Why do you care what people do with their life. Gay people want to have rights as the rest of the couples. and for Conservatives you guy sure like to write dirty notes to underage BOYs and beat your wife.
why is it wrong to Oppose war? maybe we should use some more thought before going into a country to change them. and i thought we were after terrorist not a whole freaking country. What are you basing your information off of that dems are wrong? everyone gets caught up in democrat=liberal loon and republican=conservative right wing wacko. There are smart and good people in both parties and those are the ones who are more centrist. All the media ever talks about is the far left and far right. We could all benefit by moving towards the middle and taking the best from both parties and apply that to our politics rather than the extreme views from both sides.

Dude you really need to take a government class in school. Do you know how long the republicans have controlled congress? Do you know how many years there has been a republican president in the past 26 years? Do you really have a clue who instigated NAFTA? NAFTA passed a republican congress before a president ever saw it. Do you know how congress gets bills past a president and vice versa? They tag on things such as the insurance portability act or a pay raise for congressmen. If your only defense for the gross failures of the republican party is to point a finger at the gross failures of the democratic party then you truely have no defense whatsoever. As for spending do you have a clue what this president and republican congress has spent in recent years? If that money were spent here god only knows what we could have accomplished.
