I have been trying that too lately. Actually, that was my new year's rez for '05. and so far, i've been doing pretty good (if i can say so myself) The way i do it is, when i see somebody, whether i know them or not, as soon as my mind starts picking out what's wrong with that person and making assumptions and such, i stop it. and immediately start looking at the good. For example. I met this woman i think like last friday or so, and i promise you, she looks like a man, but when that first thought came to my mind, i told myself, "nope" and i started looking at her and trying to think stuff like, "well, those shoes are nice" and that's pretty much what i have been doing these past....WOW! it's been two years! Just give it a try, and if that don't work, another trick i do, if i really can't see anything nice, i look down at my own self, and insted of thinking about that other person, i think to myself, "what are people assuming about me?" and as my mind wonders into what people might be saying behind my back, i slowly start forgetting anything that might pop into my head about the other person. But hey, i won't lie, it ain't easy. But at least you are giving it an effort! Good Luck!

take a look at the person in the mirror!

ask yourself what others may be thinking about you.. then you can spend some time judging yourself before moving on to others..

Just think to yourself everytime you start to judge a person, "What if they might have a dieing family member" Then the sorrow will override the judgemental side of you.
