I'm not answering questions just for the possibility to be chosen best answer, but it certainly make me feel more appreciated when it does happen. With every question I answer I do my utmost best to help the askerer. Therefor it is very frustrating when they don't even make an effort to pick a best answer. I don't mind if they choose someone else'e answer, just as long as they do so. So, please every user on this site, try to be considerate and choose a best answer!

Because they are arrogant and take their answers for granted. And, they are fruitcakes.

I've noticed it too... I've answered hundreds upon hundreds of questions... there are all kinds of reasons and/or possibilities>>> some don't vote at all, some vote for other answerers, some may be voting for friends only... & the thought occured to me that some may be using a different profile ID to vote for themselves?

specially circumstances there are too many solutions. It much less perplexing to enable the people %.. besides, we get factors for picking a appropriate answer or perhaps it is exciting to do too. i think of I truthfully have found out some issues by ability of choosing a appropriate answer.

Some ask questions that they surely do not know the answer so they may not know the best answer. Some do not want to loose their two points, they want to prove that their question was tough to earn five points . Some do not want others to earn their 10 points.some do not find answer that satisfy them

They should penalize askers for not choosing!
I know I spend a lot of time and really put myself into these answers, I actually do research on some of them!
