Someone who is a metrosexual means they spend a lot of time and money on their appearance, i.e. buying nice clothing, having a nice haircut etc.

A straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. refined tastes in clothing, excessive use of designer hygiene products, etc. Some people describe metros as 'being on the brink of homosexuality' - Really of course that is just a question of how you choose to define your sexuality.

A straight guy who indulges in vanity stuff. He likes going to the salon and buying toiletries (lotion,cologne,anti-aging cream,etc.). He wants to look and feel good. A mirror keeps him company. But he's still a real guy.

It means very little. Basically it's a man who cares about his appearance and comforts enough to participate in what were classic female activities: manicures, pedicures, massages, facials, body hair waxing or lasering.
