True frienship is selfless. Never expect anything from friend. To gain confidence, initiallly fix little time bound targets. Once you are able to achieve these small targets, then fix bigger and long time targets. Thus day by day your confidence grows.
Be in touch with your friend ,be it joys or sorrows. Sorrows will reduce and joys will increase by sharing. Honesty counts in life.

Three questions actually. Or four?
You can hardly be faithful or unfaithful to net friends. Try to stick to your real friends through thick and thin to show you are faithful and dependable.
Confidence comes from within. The more you work and interact, the more are your chances of success, which will develop your confidence.
No need to prove yourself to me. Prove yourself where it matters most - in your writings for instance.
And finally, its me who has just finished answering this question, right now.

Continue be a faithful , smart and honest friend. You do not have to prove it to others, for the sake of wooing some body's friendship. A friend who comes attached to you, for whatever you are will be a real friend.

Expect to have an intense life, as you will likely be spending it in the company of other strong people. It is possible that you will attend a psychic event, You will be stunned by what you learn about yourself. Though you may have gone to the event on a whim, you leave it a convert
