How do I remove scorch marks from my porcelain/glass-top stove? I've tried some stuff called "Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner" and it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

To remove the marks off the Glass You can use cook top cleaner with a flat razor blade, if it is bad it could take hours, once you get it clean again use a polish, it will make clean up easier the next time. the best product for your cook top is Whirlpools "cook top care kit" It comes with the cleaner, the protectant (polish).scour pads that won't scratch the glass. Sounds like a tough thing to do.

The enamel is subject to scorching and chipping.

They sell touch-up paint that would match the finish approximately.

I can't think of anything that will cover the scorch mark. Maybe some bleach?

Bleach or touch-up paint is all I can come up with.

We clean a house with a top like this. We usually use "EZ Off" in the yellow can as a last resort but, it's strong and you need gloves. I wouldn't have a cook top like this, they're impossible to clean or to look clean.

You can actually scrape most of this off with a utilty knife blade or sharp paint scraper. I did mine this way cause it couldn't look any worse and it got most of it off. after that clean with the cleaner and apply stovetop polish and she will look new again.
