A dead person you knew and loved? It's kind of nice to feel like you still have a connection. I still dream of my dad, who died 15 years ago.
A strange and rotting dead person? That's scary!

You may have that person on your mind for some reason. Or there is an issue that you cannot deal with consciously, so you are resolving it by chatting with a person in your dreams.

In my perspective if you're dreaming of talking to a dead person then maybe this "person" is trying to warn you from beyond the grave of something that might or could happen in the future.

That you are thinking about the person who died. It's normal it happens to everyone. My Mother died almost 2 years ago and I still have dreams about her all the time.
