wondreing if there is any research in the area done for renewable mineral resources on other planets?

The only renewable mineral deposit that I saw I was in Andes (it was called 'salar '). The miners work this mine periodically (harvest), therefore it had thermal sources. This sources , deposit (all the time) thermal waters, with same kind of minerals solved in it.
