nah, Russia would be, their military is the largest, and i believe that even without operation overlord, the allied landings, the Russians can still defeat Germany

A lot of people have chosen China, and at the current rate of growth, that WOULD be a good choice, EXCEPT, most of the Chinese are being left behind, and it wouldn't surprise me if they had another revolution sometime soon.
Plus, China may make the mistake of messing with India, as they have been moving closer to the borders. India has a more powerful and cohesive military than China, and India can devastate China in a war at the present time.
European Union is in the process of collapsing from entropy.
USA and Japan both have serious challenges facing them, and I am unsure why you allied them, while leaving out Australia, New Zealand, and India.
Personally I would have chosen a close match between the USA-Nato, and a Japanese Union with the above mentioned countries.
China has serious internal challenges, but in the west, we only get brief hints of their internal problems.

China.
America, European countries and the middle east will all be fighting out their economic, political and social battles, draining the hell out of eachother, striving for power yet despite what battles they win, no one wins overall because China won't get involved for many years, and will have it's strength reserved to easily pick off the remains of other governments and have them at their mercy.

America will always stay on top. With its allies.
You can see it with every military action since the U.S. became the U.S. Americas losses are smaller and smaller in soldier deaths. It goes to better training through out the years.
