Two stroke mowers just need a little extra lubrication. The fuel for two strokes is exactly like normal fuel, leaded or unleaded, with a squirt or oil in it. Ussually only about 50-100 mls to a five litre can. Most service staions will add the oil for you for an extra dollar. Just fill your jerry can then ask the operater for a squirt of oil for a two stroke motor. They should have a squirt machine or they might just sell you a little oil and you'll have to add it yourself. The cap of mowers or a sticker somewhere ussually says the ratio to use. 1:50 or 1:100 or something like that meaning 1 part oil to 50 or 100 parts fuel.

Go to the hardware store and ask for 2-cycle oil. read the mixing directions (usually 4:1) that is 4 ounces of oil to 1 gallon of gas. Buy a 2 gallon gas can and fill it with 2 gallons of gas (petrol). There should be room for 8 ounces of 2- cycle oil. Put it in , close the caps on the can, and give it a slight shake. (Ther's no danger here I only tell you to give it a slight shake so you don't get it all over.) VOILA There's your gas. Good luck. I suggest ear plugs. 2- strokes can be loud.

any servo should have 2-stroke oil, which is blended with standard to give you two-stroke fuel.

On the mower's fuel cap or on the mower itself it should state the required petrol to oil ratio required, usually 25:1 (but check this for your own mower!). Thus you will need to mix 25 parts of standard to every 1 part of oil.

Clear as granite? no worries then.....

with a two stroke engine the oil is placed in the petrol directly, not in a separate place like a 4 stroke engine.

look for two stroke engine oil sold in little bottles - and either add the whole bottle for x number of gallons or
follow directions for use -

use part of the bottle for the size or your container/ can

Heh, you said petrol.... yeeeeeeeeeer English! I love you English types, you're so cute! ;-) Just go to your regular petrol (gas) station and pick it up there. They give you a container to put it in, so you can pour it directly into your mower. I do this, so have fun with your mower! ;-)

Use the same fuel as you use in your car and pre-mix it as others have said. You will ruin it if you don't mix the oil and fuel
