Anyone know of a site where I can get info on how to get a story pubished into a book?

Hi - hope you're prepared for a lot of hard work........I found getting published caused me more anguish than actually writing my book in the first place.

Having said that, it is so, so worth it when it does happen.

Links 1, 2 and 3 below give information on how to get published.
Link 4 is an amazon.com link to a book I think you would find extremely useful
Link 5 is a list of literary agents in the USA (I'm sure you'll find similar lists in your country, if you're not from the US).

I found using a literary agent was expensive, but ultimately worth it - certainly the first time, before I had any experience or contacts in the industry. Make sure you agree acceptable terms with your agent - don't leave it as a floating fee.

My biggest piece of advice is don't be put off by the criticism (which you will get), the rejections (of which you will get many, unless you are very very lucky), or the delays. Stick to your guns and I wish you the very best of luck.
