Hate is a strong word, and I think unfair. Let's face it, if we were heading to a party, we want Bill Clinton to lead the way. But we weren't heading to a party. We were looking at policies and approaches to addressing domestic and foreign affairs.
However, his administration and party was full of illegal activity, not to mention highly questionable situations that haunted his presidency. It was a question of character and trust. When it explicitly says in the campaign rules on financing that you will not accept campaign donations from foreign entities, why did they take donations from Chinese? Why did he lie to cover up the situations around it (which led to the Monica situation). Why was his wife, Hillary, collecting direct favor from his position to advance her career and business dealings? Why were key persons in the Clinton political machine showing up dead? What was all this about? And who ever heard of a first lady presenting bills to congress? We elect representatives to do that on our behalf, not watch a person who wasn't elected take over the house forum. And of course, why did the republicans in the house let her do that?? (another question for another day)
Now, I don't want you to think 'conspiracy' here. But there is a question of character and dealings with criminal behavior as well as over reaching power. Remember, it's different from 'hating' the person and 'questioning' his/her activities. It's clear to me, the Clintons have a character and policy problem which has made them untrustworthy in ways that I haven't seen since.

For Bill Clinton, I think that they dislike him becuase he made a lot of mistakes while serving as president.
For Hilary Clinton..Um, I personally think that she's not ready to be president. but that's my opinion. And I'm a girl, so im not sexist or anything; i would love for a female to be president. I just dont agree with her being the president of the united states.

Because he actually DID so much that Republicans had promised and failed to deliver on:
- Balanced budget
- Strong economy
- Reforming welfare
etc. etc. the first one alone had been talked about for YEARS by the likes of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. During their tenures the deficit increased 4 fold.

Because we had great prosperity under his presidency. He was loved and admired for his intelligence. It wasn't the Lewinsky thing that made them hate him, it was his success. They don't like for the middle class to be successful and prosper.
