They grow back legs first. And some types of frog can take up to three years to turn from a tadpole to a frog. American bullfrog for instance!

Some just don't grow out of the larval stage. some stay in the larval stage a long time for no apparent reason. If you have it in an aquarium with some land it may grow out in time.
if wild caught it may have been contaminated (poisoned) .

i think i remeber reading this in science. it's just a normal part of the life cycle. it'll probably grow legs soon(an the tail will fall off). i'm not sure if i remembered it right though but it should be ok. he's just a late froggy.

My advice is to google metamorphasis of a tadpole!
They should have pictures and a timeline. It sounds normal to me!

it is not like you can attach arms to a tad pole. does it look like it is a functional creature?

its probably still growing if it still has a tail....that sounds weird that it has no front legs....lol
