I have been using it almost two years and it is a staple in my make up bag. This stuff is defintely worth every penny. The coverage you get from bare minerals is unlike anything I have ever used. I have roseacea and it can be so difficult to cover with ordinary liquids, but with bare minerals I actually look like I have FLAWLESS skin.It is 100% pure, While I agree that it wears off towards the end of the day, it still lasts longer than any other makeup I have used and I have tried almost all of them. And if you bring it with you in the compact provided it really isn't a big deal. Or sometimes I just reblend with my portable Face brush (sold separately) and that works too. A word about some of the other brands(i.e L'oreal) I have tried a couple of them when I ran out and was desperate, and they don't compare all that well. I don't get the coverage or the luminosity that I get with BM . You will be paying 13.00 bucks for an inferior product. If cost is a concern then I recommend that you buy the starter kit and instead of getting home delivery, either go to Sephora or ulta and buy the full size for about 25.00 dollars. I do and that container lasts me for about 5 months. Ifound it to be more cost effective that way. Alittle goes along way with this product. Also give yourself time to play with it because it does take some practice to get it right. Also QVC has some awesome deals or you can order from the website. If you still feel like going with one of the cheaper brands( I do understand that it is expensive) then I recommend the Physician's formula version. It is the best one of the more accessible brands I have used. But I really think if you try it you will love it as much as I do. It really is the best stuff on the market in my opinion. All of their products, the blushes, eyeshadows everything is wonderful. I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin since I started using it. If you are interested in trying other products aside from the foundation, you can buy color kits on QVC or the website at bargain prices to get you started with the color products.

I love it. If however, you have a lot of acne and your skin isn't very smooth I don't think it's for you. It gives moderate-coverage but by the end of the day it's definately wears off a little. I use to have moderate acne, but thankfully my skin has cleared up and all i really need is a little coverage just to even my skin out. It works for me, it's light-weight and I don't feel as if I'm hiding behind a thick blanket of makeup.
FYI: Mac Liquid Foundation is a great base to layer your Bare Minerals over.
Hopeee this helps. =]

I use bare minerals and it works great! I wouldn't reccommend it for someone who wants to find something that would cover extreme acne or dark spots. It is great at enhanceing your natural beauty. Worth the money.

I was very skeptical about it 5 years ago, but I wanted something different, so I tried it. I have been using no other make-up since then. I live in Louisiana where is almost always humid, and in the summer my make-up used to feel like it just melted away. This brand has does wonders. It doesn't rub off (I thought it might because it looks like powder!). It stays on, and my face doesn't feel like I even have it on. The coverage is good, I like to use a make-up primer on before I use it, as it helps to smooth it out.
Great product.

I have wanted to try it but it's so expensive so I bought a similar product at target called mineral powder foundation by L'Oreal. It works great and has a sunblock in it. I don't like using makeup but this mineral makeup is wonderful. I bet you would like it and it's cheaper than buying bare minerals.

YES YES YES YES YES!!!
Its worth the money...I've been using it for a few months now (my mom got me a starter kit for my birthday, and since then, I traveled 2 hours to the nearest store and bought a bunch of eyeshadows and blushes, the eyeshadow kit, and some other stuff...and I love it all. So many people have complimented me on how much better my skin looks.
Invest in it and see for yourself!

Yes it works. I would do one of those commercials if I could since I started wearing it about 2 years ago I dont want to wear anything else. Everyone I know who has tried told me they feel the same. It helps you glow, look flawless and effortless. It really brings out the natural beauty.

My Mom uses it and loves it. I tried it and hated it. It's a matter of personal preference. I didn't like how the powder made a mess in the bathroom.
