My ex recently Burglarized my Residence (and this is more than 13 years AFTER divorce) -- with the help of an Adult Child --
AND ... the most cruel thing ...
HE (the Ex) took the Permanent Marker from my Computer Stand, walked through my home, Opened my Garage Doors from INSIDE the home, Started taking from the STACK of Rubbermaid Bins (which I use to sort things to donate and throw out) and ...
Lined these bins up between my Dining Room and Kitchen, WROTE his NAME on the Bins, and left my door open ... with EVERY intent of coming back for ROUND 2 to fill his vehicle with STOLEN goods from MY HOME.
THEN ... when the Police Officer said "Well, I don't think I can do anything, because he is a "GUEST" in your home ...
Where in his WARPED MIND did the Officer think that an Ex from so long ago (Who Abused me and was convicted of abusing the children) would EVER be a 'guest' in MY home????

Cruelty can only affect you with your consent. Don't ever feed cruelty from others with your attention, allowing it to grow (thereby) affect you. If you remove the source of its power (the attention you give it) it will dissolve instantaneously.
There have been countless cruel acts in my life, but I choose not to remember them, thus removing their power over me.
Remember this in your new start and don't let it get you down again. You have the power. GOOD LUCK with your new account!

I would have to say the worse thing is that the government murdered my mother they refused to give her disability they took her off insurance so that they could give help to all the crackheads who really don't need it the actually told her that If she was addicted to pills she would get it faster they told her that her blood pressure was not high enough to affect her heart (she had alot of physical problems too) lo and behold her heart exploded from high blood pressure... she was the only person in this entire world who ever loved me

My father committed suicide, leaving me an orphan. As an only child with no living family to speak of (and certainly none who wanted to take me in), that left me in a pretty screwed-up position. I was eventually adopted, but for a while, it was total chaos.

my brother's ex stole my checks and wrote over $4,000 dollars on my account and it took over a year to prove that it wasn't me. But it was hell to go through, thank goodness for videos in stores to prove identity. 5 different places didn't even get an id from her they just asked her for her license number verbally and took that.

It's not that bad. Ok I was with a guy and I have never toungetied b4. He was my frist. We weren't going out or anything but we kissed and it turned into making out. So stupid me thought that he would go out with me. The next day he asked a really good friend of mine out. He never told me. I kept floating on air for a few weeks untill he showed up to a dance (that my folks drove him 2) with his girlfriend. That really sucked. (But it was so funny cause later that night SHE dumped him. ;) Everything does work out!! ;))

Can you talk about it to a friend??
If not, maybe you should consider talking to a person who's profession it is to help people who, like you, are battling with serious stuff ...so your GP, or a psychologist. (I think the second option would be preferable : they are sworn to secrecy, AND they are total strangers.....sometimes it's easier to talk to them than to your friends, however close they are.
Seems to me you're really struggling with this, so please, talk to someone soon.
Good luck!
