It's Definitely Food for thought and the Key To Learning...
It's entertaining. Different from watching a movie. When you read a book you can put your own thoughts, perception, graphics, etc to the story. Using your own imagination.
Enhances your vocabulary.
Also, can be used as a tool for relaxing.
Mental stimulation.

reading is soo important
it helps with your vocablulary, writing, speaking and most likely so much other things. do you not like reading? i find reading fun especially if its a book i get to pick out so pick a book you like! there may be some trial and error but you will eventually find a genre of books you really love!
