It is not thinning out. Where did you get that idea?

The atmosphere is not thinning.
The ozone layer is however, in the southern hemisphere there is a large hole covering most of antartica. It has grown exponentially since the industrial era.

The two biggest sources are CFCs and excessive methane, and the number one source of methane is cows. Ya, humans eat a lot more meat than they used to, and the amazon rain forest is being BURNED (not harvested) to make room for more cattle grounds. So we need to reduce CFC emissions and quit eating so much meat or the problem is going to continue to grow worse.

A high protein vegitarian diet is much more healthy anyway.

The only way to thin our atmosphere is to stop our core from spinning. Then we would have no electromagnetic deflection from the solar wind and our atmosphere would blow away, just like Mars.

It's caused by an increase in greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. As the amount of carbon dioxide increases, the upper atmosphere becomes cooler and contracts.
