Someone once told me that it would be impossible to find any cases of botched circumcisions that happened in america. Well here is 2. It took me less than a minute to find them and it just sickens me. I hope that one day, humanity will come to its senses but as brutal as human beings are, I highly doubt that will ever happen. For all you African women being mutilated and all you American men being mutilated, I am sorry. being that i was born in the Uk, i havent had to suffer what you people have had to suffer.

i feel guilty that i am even intact. i feel guilty that i havent had to suffer the injustices a few of you women her claim you are going to inflict on your babies. I hope to christ you women have girls. Every time i see a baby boy i cringe from the thought that the mother might have mutilated his body.

Ok, second one was from Israel
But there are more, if you just Google 'botched circumcision' you can find many more. Here are two more:
thttp://www.sexuallymutilatedchild.org/lawsuits.htmhe
http://www.circumstitions.com/Law.html
Many cases are kept private the victims do not want to be in the news, but there are lawyers in this country that actually specialize in botched circumcision litigation. I doubt they would do that if it were a rare occurrence.

The first circumcision that Abraham performed (apparently on himself) as a contract between him and God, was when he was like 90 years old. How did it get to be a ritual performed on a baby? Of course babies feel things. They feel it more intensely than adults do. They just don't remember it readily.

Unfortunately to say... There is an upside and a downside to everything! While some things are not acceptable in some households, cultures, or countries... It is, what it is. To have a deeper understanding of why we do these things, rather than to "judge" would be a better route to go. I'm pretty sure that there are some things in your country, or practice that we may not agree on, but I'm sure if i'm willing to do some research on the "upside" and "downside" of the matter, and why you do the things you do...I wouldn't say i'm disgusted, but rather educated on the matter:)

You think people sickin you why don't you try smelling an uncircumsized penis. It smell like a vagina that hasn't been washed in a week. Who want their son walking around smelling like a fishy @ss girl. That is more embarrassing and when they have sex they give infections. Most men don't like not having had it done. It is better cleaner and more confident for men. Put your emotions aside and look at facts and most of all men take on it and women also they don't like the look or smell or the fact it gives them infections. I had my son done when he was 4yrs cause he was too sick to have it done as a baby and his dad wasn't done more of the reason why I made sure he had it done. Get a new cause to fight for like kids who are starving, cause this is so petty.

I'm with you!, society has been pushing this to the point where it is socially unaceptable for men to be complete. Have you seen Penn and Teller's show about it?, it is horrible, they show an actual patient , a little baby having the surgery done, the poor baby screams out of his mind, nearly passes out of pain and the monster -doctor says "they don't feel pain, if I did this surgery in an adult now he would suffer!". You have to see it, it is just awful and you are right, we are brutal and humanity hopefully will come to its senses.
And to the person who replied about "infections" happening if you don't circumsize, I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you but that man probably doesn't know how to clean himself and he would get the infections even if he were circumsized.

sorry but considering the number of people who get circumcised it's very rare to have a blotched one and most men who don't get it done wish they had here in America. plus in africa they do it when the girls are much older and without a knowledgeable staff. Sorry but my son will have it done. It's better that way and he'll appreciate it later on!

Very interesting. My man wasn't circumcised until he was 15. He asked his parents to allow it. He found that the skin was too tight when he was "excited" and it caused him more pain than pleasure. He didn't have any problems at that age.

Um. These cases are extremely few and far between. It's easier to keep clean and healthy when it's circumsized. And, there are plenty of men in the UK--especially those who do it for religious reasons--who are circumsized. It's not an American phenomenon.
