i have european relatives who think it's unhealthy to bathe every day because it will make you sick. i think it's kind of the reverse, but whatever. at least they don't waste as much water.

I'm not sure about this myself but I did heard that due to the difference in the weather and climate in the west therefore they wouldn't take as much bath as people at other countries. But of course everybody takes a bath... well, at least I think so.. =?

Europeans do bathe, just as much as Americans do, in fact. Sometimes more. The notion that they don't is merely an old stereotype.
