Our local pool has dressing / shower huts, but no toilets unless you go al the way out. The waterpark has showers in the open everywhere, but toilets only at the entrance. A motel we stayed at had no toilet, but a shower in the corner. My boys always pee in the shower hut at our local pool, but I was uncomfortable when they did it in the open at the motel, be it they were in their suits and under the shower, I and most others knew what they were doing. Better there than in the pool?

hehe, a lot of folks get really uptight if they think someone is peeing in the shower - but I really cannot see why.

Seems practical and perfectly hygienic if you can ignore the "urgh that's gross" type of whines

it is better than peeing in the pool, but if it is a community shower type deal, then it is a little gross for the other people in the shower because they could get pee on their feet. but if they are single showers, i think it would be fine

everyone on my high school team did it, there's nothing distinctly wrong with it, and in fact it can help clear up warts on feet, i don't think that's a problem, but just a fun fact. the only issue i could see is if this is a place you go to often and your boys are young, there may be some peer rejection because they are being "gross" (or the parents might discourage their children from playing with them.) i don't know if this is the case, but its something to think about,

Pardon me, but i find it totally okay. It's anyway better than peeing in the open pool where many others are swimming in it.

Nothings wrong with urinating in the shower. Urine is actually sterile, and harmless. Let it flow, in the shower or the pool, just don't poop! Hope that helps.

I guess it depends on how you'd feel standing in the shower if you knew the last person there had peed in it.

i tend to agree with you. you don't actually want to see it...or smell it, but if it's going right down the drain, maybe it's not too bad. i guess the people who plan those places should have done a better job. have fun.
