yes. in canada, we aren't so black and white about what political party we belong to. alot of us just vote on what the issues are. even though each party represents something, there are liberal conservatives and conservative liberals. so every time there's an election, i don't pick the same party since their stance on certain issues change. and having a change in parliament is good every so often.

Only until we come up with a populist party. It won't be long now. The Republican Party already refused to endorse or financially support non-incumbants who were not globalists. They wanted to keep the seats they had, but pretty much compelled non-election of populist sorts. After all, Republican funding is by global corporations...

Republicans aren't welcoming Pelosi out of magnaminity or humility, they see a far left Speaker as potentially being a globalist - as many would-be-international trade unions are. They see more in common with her and are worried about the anti-free-trade-agreement seats now in the Democratic party. It is a new coalition forming.

So we need to form a coalition on the populist side, as well.

The Democrats this year came close to spending what the Republicans spent on campaigns, for the first time ever. One big reason, according to the press, was the availability of internet giving and the widespread use of 'small' donations - under $200.

Something to think about, but it will take organization, and the globalists have money to hire staff for that. I'd give, but I can't give like Exxon can.

Most of my life, this was the story: The majority of Americans were Democrats, but some of them would sometimes vote Republican.

Republicans tended to vote Republican.

Elections were decided by whether or not the swing dems would cross party lines.

So it would be the wave of the future in the same way as 90's nostalgia would be.

Though the country has never been so polarized as it is now.

But recently, there are a lot of disaffected conservatives who abandoned the Republican party -- though, come to think of it, the party abandoned them.

cases substitute and people substitute. The Democrats have found out their lesson however the Republicans have not. do no longer think of for one minute Lincoln turn right into a lover of black people. He did no longer like "******" to any extent further than maximum different white people on the time. He only got here approximately to despise slavery. His dislike of slavery got here from his experience of splitting boards all day and then having to grant his pay of 25cents to his father in a feeling making him a slave. He observed others enslaved too. no longer only black people yet community individuals, Mexicans and a few chinese language too. together as he did no longer like those different races he hated slavery. to be conscious of the way the substitute could have ensue one ought to seem to the Sixties while a Democratic controlled Congress and a Democratic president made particular people of shade have been to no longer be discriminated against in faculties, eating places, in housing, jobs and in voting. Many Southerners have under no circumstances forgiven the Democratic party for that. additionally the South has consistently been greater conservative than something of the country. because of the fact the conservatives administration the Republican party this is clever that those Bible thumpers and uber conservatives interior the South could navigate in the direction of the greater conservative of the events. because of the fact the stars and bars is a logo of the confederacy there are some who experience a could desire to be in touch with the days of discrimination and the antebellum life their ancestors had.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could go to a site with just facts. about How everyone voted. This way next election we can just scroll to the canidate and say he voted mostly the way I would have wanted him to vote. I will vote for him again. Or he didn't vote on the majority of thing that I would have like to see him vote on therefore I will vote for his opponent. NO mudslinging Just good old facts. Based on his/her performance. Not only that but it might keep them better in check.
Just a dream.

I believe it is the way of the past lol. do you really think that voting across party lines is new, or has never happened before? I have done it my whole adult voting life, voting for the best person for each job, regardless of party affiliation.......though I gotta say, the last 10 years republicans are making it hard to stay that way. I may have to vote a straight party ticket (deomcrat) unless they change their platform TREMDOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It could be. Maybe that would not be such a bad idea. It's the way it should be. Vote for the person.
