I dumped quite a few in the last year, since their values don't correspond to mine anymore...

To be honest.....I only have 1 that I can trust. And now I've become so suspicious,I'm not sure about her either.I have come to trust no one.It will take an act of God for me to trust ever again.

Not many. I cleaned out the detritus seven years ago, some have died, and some are busy building new relationships with their second or third wives. I have at least one friend in the nascent partnerships, I just don't see them too much right now.

For some reason, I am viewed as a relationship wrecker, and although I am innocent, except in one case. I keep my distance now so others' personal problems don't get blamed on me.

The one relationship I did wreck, I wrecked at the request of a family comprised of several friends of mine, who wanted that little golddigger away from someone before he proposed. He is no longer a friend, although his life is working out very well with the new wife.

Oh, yes! But I'm very careful about who I allow into my inner sanctum. I have one friend in particular who is a truly spectacular person in my eyes and I know in my heart that we'll always be tight. If there were more like her, the world would be a much better place for all of us! I know what you mean, though. Every once in a while you just have to go through your life and take out the trash. Good luck finding more suitable companions!

I have one friend- I have had her as my best friend for the past 16 years and we haven't split up yet. Even when we didn't talk for quite some time- we always picked up where we left off and she is too special to me. I would do anything for her and she would do anything for me.

All the rest of my "friends" lean more towards the "acquaintance" department and probably will stay that way.

One. One precious authentic friend who I can't really stand to be around for long - but good thing she lives so far away from me! ;)

Authentic, true people are SO few and far between (or so it seems).. People are just too damn human, I think..

;)

Be well.

Yes but we keep politics out of our discussions because I am definitely different than my friends from Idaho. If I didn't do that there is no way I would keep some of them as my friends.

I have 3. Life is all about change. You never know when a stranger will become your next closest friend.
