A marriage on paper, means your heart and souls aren't connected; it's like a business arrangement practically.
An actual marriage has the paperwork, love, commitment, hard work to keep each other happy, compromises, and patience!

A "marriage on paper" is what most men tell other women about their marriage. It means that the two people are still married, but they don't function as a real couple. They are married for some other reason than love.

An actual marriage is one based on love, trust, respect, communication, etc. It is the only reason to ever marry and stay married.

Paper marriage is when two people are married, but are not working on keeping the marriage they may be separated or living apart or no longer in love but haven't gotten divorced yet and are just legally tied to each other. The actual marriage is two people who are in love and are making the marriage work.

paper marriage is basically for legal reasons, a real marriage is performed in a church and in the sight of God, most marriages don't have a piece of paper and that doesn't make them less important...the Lord doesn't need a paper to know that two people who are in love with each other, are married.

A marriage on paper is legal. Actual marriage is a ceremony with family and friends present which won't hold up in court, so technically .. you wouldn't be married if all you had was the ceremony.

A *PAPER MARRIAGE* involves the two simply appearing before the Judge and signing the paperwork that says "[This person] promises to be with the other person. etc."
An "actual marriage" involves a more EMOTIONAL-commitment; commonly in front of your loved ones and others inside a church "in His sight."

If people are gonna get married and don't know why they got married then to me it's just a piece of paper. Because in a real marriage they know that love and forever happiness brought them together.
