Please bear with me:
I usually have breast tenderness/pain the week before my period. A lot of women on here, and a lot of things I've read on other sites, say that breast tenderness is often one of the first signs of pregnancy. So:
-Because I am "prone" to breast tenderness (before my period), is it most likely that this will be one of my first signs? (I realize that it is different for everyone, and I am not looking for a psychic reading here - I guess I just want an opinion based on these facts and your own experiences)
-How early did YOU feel breast tenderness in your pregnancy?
-Was it YOUR first sign?
(I don't have any tenderness yet, but I only ovulated a week ago, so I don't expect to for a bit....I have had a couple things that I could call signs or symptoms, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions)

breast tenderness is one of the 1st signs but the tenderness is caused by milk ducts so if you feel your breast and you feel lumps that would be pregnant not period also you will notice a change in your discharge it will be heavyer and more mucus like.

When I had my first two kids (boys) I didn't really remember tender breast. But I always got tender breast before I had my period. With this pregnancy, tender breast was the FIRST sign. It felt different. They were very painful and I couldn't lay on them. Usually when I was about to get my period, I would feel the pain in my breast and along my arm pits. With this one, it was my nipples and when I pushed on my breast, they hurt.

well for me personally i actually only felt breast tenderness in small spurts...and i would say mostly in my 3rd trimester (i am 36 weeks preggo now)...however, i will say that in early pregnancy (a week before my period was even due) i new something seemed wierd, as i had not had any normal pre menstrual symptoms that i had normally had. I will also say that i thought i had a stomach flu because i was already feeling naushes before my period was even late...Soooo basically i am a strong believer that it is def. possible to feel symptoms of pregnancy before you are even due for your period...and like you said...us woman are not alike...actually each of your own pregnancies can be very different as well...Also i said to my boyfriend a 2 weeks before my period ( literally had to be a day or two after actually conceiving) that i had a feeling i was pregnant...he laughed at me thinking it was too soon to no...but we know our bodies well...so trust your instincts if they are strong...and make sure to avoid anything that may be dangerous to that possible embryoof yours lol...I wish you much luck!!!!..

You know whats kinda funny with both of mine that was my first sign. My first one was an oops! But my second one we were trying to get pregnant... and every time it got close to my period I would like keep pushing at them to see if they hurt. A couple days after my period was due was when they actually started to hurt and I waited like a week and a half to take a test and it came out positive... but that was the way I knew to see if I was... as silly as it sounds! So to answer your question.. yes that was the first sign on both!

My first signs were always a horrific headache~ I gues it was from the immediate hormone change after conception. With in a week or two my breasts felt heavier and "tighter" I don't know how else to describe it, maybe fuller.
Relax, and what will be will be in the right time.
Isn't it cool that we can LOVE a baby as soon as we want one?
uhm, that is assuming you want one I guess (c:

my breast got really sore around 8 weeks....so sore that I wore a bra 24/7 and wouldn't let my husband touch them. My first sign of pregnancy was morning sickness around 6-7 weeks.

My breast were sore from the very beginning...I had no idea i could even be pregnant but I would always complain of my breasts were hurting and when I finally found out I was pregnant I knew just why they were so sore.
