is it a bad idea to talk to a 49 yr old and i am 27 and hes in a realtionship?

No not at all, in fact that is a good age for you to be dating....Im that age and my girl is 34, but before her my girl friend was 26, so I know just how you feel...we get along great...there is something about the differnance that make things work great...Im still friends with the 26 yo..but shes 28 now....

I'm your age, and most of the friends I keep are older than I am. One of the men I consider my best online friends is older than the man you're asking if you should talk to.
I'm often acknowledged as more mature for my age than my elders were at my age now, and I'm often also acknowledged as being wise beyond my years. After you're legal, age is nothing but a number. You're both adult with age between you. Appreciate and respect that difference and respect the relationship you know he's in. Accept that your relationship with him, if any, should be that of friendship, because anyone in a relationship, should be off limits to everyone else, in that regard.

Is it a bad idea to 'talk' to a 49-year old? Nope. You can talk to anyone you want to. But when you add that he's in a relationship, that automatically brings up the question, what are you talking to him about?
If it's just friendly conversation, it doesn't matter what age he is.

No its not to old, I'm 49 and have friends your age. But only if its as friends. If he's married are you sure you want to be the girl on the side?

There's nothing wrong with talking to an older person or even
having a relationship but if he's already hooked up it seems like a bad bet.

Yes. He does not sound like someone who takes relationships seriously. Don't get close to him. Does he talk about his relationship with that other person? Well, if you get involved with him, he'll talk about YOU to the next one!!!
