I have a question. I have never used Limewire before.
1) is it illegal to download the music
2) is it totally free?
3)when i click to download a song it says i do not have a liscence to download it.
4) can i burn cd's with limewire legally?

1) No but from websites like limewire, kinda if you look at it like stealing
2)Yep limewire is totally free unless you're using limewire pro which is legal
3)Yeah it says that for every song but click yes when it says that anyway
4) I always think limewire is legal as long as you don't sell the cd's you burnt

1) Yes it is illegal but its basicly imposible 4 them 2 figure out ur useing it.
2) Yep its free
3)when it askes u if u have a liscence just click acccept and u should be able 2 download the song
4) Nope u cant download anything off of limewire legally

1)Depends... is it copywritten music(major label type stuff)?
2)You only have to pay for Limewire Pro which can be downloaded and installed for free from Limewire BASIC
3)Okay then. Your not supposed to download it.
4)No. You can't burn CDs with Limewire at all. Period. You need other programs for that such as Windows Media Player.

It is not illegal to download music if you are a Canadian resident. It is illegal to upload it still if you are Canadian. It is free yes, are you trying to use the pro version when you dont have a license key for it? You can burn cds with limewire legally, all depends on the content of those cds ... if its copyrighted files then no.

1) sorta yes sorta no if your downloading songs that have no liscence in the US(such as japanese pop music) it's perfectly legal.
2)yes is can be unless you subscribe/donate to limewire pro
3)never ran into that problem
4)limewire is not the program burning the cd's
