Spok was never the Captain of the Enterprise -he was the guy with the pointy ears who could do a mind read-William Shatner was the Commander always of the original Star Trek, then the 2nd one was the bald guy,Patrick something and what I loved about that offshoot were the Borgs, then there also was a Black guy as the commander - werre you had the litle guy with the pointy funny bald head and the pointy teeth-his race was great with being bussinessmen and he managed the club , the other two were off shoots of the original which naturally was the best. I thought that All the Star Treks' were great.

Nope - there have been several captains of the Enterprise. The captain on the original 60s series was "James Tiberius Kirk," portrayed by William Shatner. Spock was First Officer, and was portrayed by Leonard Nimoy. One episode of the 60s series dealt with a former captain named Christopher Pike. In the first movie, the captain was Matt Decker, portrayed by Stephen Collins; Spock didn't turn up as captain until the second movie, "The Wrath of Khan."

No. He was captain of the Enterprise only in The Wrath Of Khan. The next movie, the Enterprise self-destructed.

It was never Capt. Spook. The first pilot episode--I think its called "the Managerie" (never aired) had a different Capt. I think his name was capt. Hunter. The pilot that was aired had Captain James T. Kirk as the capt and he stayed there through all the episode.
