no, I wouldn't be scared. I'd tell them its freakin 3a.m. and hang up, unless they were a friend of a friend or could give a legitimate reason as to why they called my number at 3a.m.

I wouldn't be scared, it's probably just a wrong number. I wouldn't talk to the person though either. I got a txt message from a "wrong number" at like 2 in the morning once and the guy then called my phone and then he continued to call and send text messages, until one night my husband finally answered my phone, haven't heard from the guy since, I guess he thought my voicemail was sexy, lol

If I was up and they didn't seem too wierd I would talk. I used to work nights and it wasn't unusual for my phone to ring at 2 or 3 a.m. Might just be a night owl that misdialed! Of course it could be a psycho calling from the porch, so I wouldn't open any doors...

I wouldn't pick up because this is the reason I disconnect my phone before going to bed. If there's bad news I can wait to hear it in the morning. But the one time that it did happen (that's when I started disconnecting my phone) my friend just wanted to talk because she was bored.

depends on whether i'm sleeping or not! if i was awake, i would go along for a while till i got tired then i would wish the person the best and wang up.
i would only be scared if the person said they were outsire my house. but anyway, my door would be locked and i would have a butcher knife under my pillow

I must be the only one so far who would be so intrigued as to why they called me - I would be prepared to listen - at least for a little while.

If they just needed to talk to someone yes I would. I listen quite well. Sometimes I don't understand why they need to talk to someone but I would probably listen.

I have done that. Doesn't scare me. IT'S THE TELEPHONE. :-))
One wrong number called me back a couple times. He wasn't nasty or creepy at all. Pretty funny actually. I finally asked him to knock it off, and he did.
