Is there a..............?

Question

I wanna be a photographer and a makeup artist, I need somewhere to practice though; or a program/class I can join in Southern California. I mainly want to practice the art of makeup, like I wanna be able to look at a picture of a model and be able to make someones face look like that?
Im too young to get a job though :/

like I said, im not 16 yet. Not even close...
I meant like is there a youth program...or a class? something like that.

but i want to be an assistiant director where i like pick out the places they tak pictures and how they take them and pick out the clothes.

I'm a Sales DIrector with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I have a couple different pieces of advice for you.

1. If your mom is supportive of your goals...perhaps she would consider starting a Mary Kay business with you. It costs $100 plus tax to start. There is bountiful education on make-up application and skincare that would be very helpful to you. You and your mom could attend local meetings in California as well as benefit from my website and the MK website. Might be fun for you and your mom.

2. If that is not an option, you could contact a local Mary Kay Sales Director and see if she would allow you work in her office. You would learn so much!!!

for make up artisty- the best way to get involved is practice paractice practice! as for getting a job- go to your local department store and see if there are any openings available!
Pick a brand that is similar to your style and ask one of their artist to help you recreate it!
