Well I actually wasn't planning on answering this question until I saw a bunch of people using the words revenge and attack. Let me explain it to all of you who said those words in very simple terms so you can understand. Commit a crime, Go to prison! Do you think that we should just let Osama Bin Laden off the hook I mean 9-11 is over now right so whats with all this revenge talk!
Come on people get with the program. Many people believe this administration has been doing tons of illegal crap and now we can actually get a commitee in there that will not distort the facts to suit the Bush administration. So I say "By all means investigate their sorry butts and if they are guilty of crimes against this country then lock their sorry butts up and throw away the key!

I'm curious about this "landslide victory" I keep hearing about. Is that why, after 2 days, we were unsure of which party held the Senate?
Is that why democrats are counting 2 independents as "controlling" the Senate?
Be happy with a win and get off the defensive, and get to work!

As a Republican I even haven't any issue with taxes being raised for everybody to pay the freaking debt, and likewise if we were given time-honored Healthcare-like the German device-which could be valuable too. I even haven't any issue with larger taxes that serve a purpose, or authorities spending increasing with the spending is honestly for the great aspect about the populous.

Well, if you had any proof or evidence of crimes, instead of just an irrational hatred of all things Republican, this might be in order. Delusions and hallucinations about mythical corruption and scandal don't cut it in the real world, bubba.

Yes. And here's why:

Although the Dems did win, it was not a landslide majority. Landslide means most people voted for a particular party. Dems only won by the slim majority. But it was a surprising win! Political Arenas were only predicting we'd get the House.

Hate to break it to you, but it's not just republicans who are corrupt. There is corruption ANYWHERE there is government, or power. The democratic party is not the "savior" of government, contrary to popular belief. And you may be happy now that the dems have the house and senate, but just wait. Now that the focus is on them, there will be some scandals, and by the time the presidential election rolls around, voters will be ready to elect a republican again. and btw, i don't care how many thumbs down you give me. they don't hurt me.

Absolutely not! That will not serve us well as a country... A "GET EVEN" attitude will not serve this country well , or them... DEms want to wing The 2008 Election...Increase minimum wage...Secure the Borders... Cut spending... Decrease rates on student loans....These are winning platforms
