How do you guys feel about R & B singer Gerald Levert's Death......?

I am suprised because he was just 40 years old, and I am also deeply saddened. This shows that life is to short and should be lived to the fullest. In my eyes he lived his life that best he could. He was an inspiration to many people.He music was loved by my entire family.One of my favorite songs sung by him was "Casavona". I wish his entire family the best of love and hope and prey that they all can get through this time of mourning.

I don't know why, but I keep thinking about his daughter, because she was on that show "Super Sweet 16" on MTV. I remember thinkin' that he was real cool when he put her in check for her outrageous behavior. As far as his passing, this once again shows that our culture is killing us. He was overweight just like Luther was, and ultimately, that's probably what contributed to him losing his life. It's sad, but hopefully people realize that our diets are what dictate how long we live.

I was very sad to hear the news he was only 40, I mean I will turn 40 in less then 2 weeks from now,just think life is short,I've seem him in concert a couple of times and his personalty is/was very warm and friendly made sure he put on a good show he was a people person.He performed right here in Mississippi.Just 2 months ago he was on Bobby Jone Gospel Music he had just released a Gospel CD.REST IN PEACE Gerald I love you.....
