My inner child is still alive even though some people have done everything they can to destroy it and everything about me.But I refuse to let people get to me and I will forever remain who I am regardless of what other people think,say,or do.

Good question! I am not sure if you would call being hopeful the inner child. My inner child is still alive in part to a traumatic childhood. society has done it's part to destroy that though!

my inner child has a weird life span. i like to say it was in the hospital with a horrible disease for a year. my depressed year. basically, i learned my lesson about not enjoying life and my inner child checked out of the hospital. society isn't destroying it, but there are days when my inner child goes and hides from me because i am hanging with society...

I'm 27 and I listen to my inner child everyday as if it were my parents talkin'.....I will until I am a grandma. The Book The Little Prince tells all!!
