why can I not view any images on searched pages?

may be you have an image blocker?
have you tried other image searchers?
is it only the searched images that are not showing, but the logo shows?

It could be due to your browser's settings.

If you are using Firefox :
Tools>Options>Contents
Tick the checkbox Load Images>OK

If you are using IE,
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced
Under Multimedia, tick the checkbox for Show Pictures>OK
