greenday or U2 i perfer greenday what does everyone think

Greenday, honestly not being mean but, U2 kinda sucks!That's just my opinion!

thats a really hard question to answer because U2 has been around so much longer than Greenday. U2 used to be as popular with the younger alternative crowd as Greenday is today but now seem to be more listened to by the older crowd because they grew up with them.
here's some interesting facts though:
10-15-06 U2 is one of the top selling artist, 22 grammy's under their belt, 170 million albums sold worldwide
Greenday has 3 grammy's under their belt, but is second to RHC for having the most number one billboard hits, 85 million albums sold worldwide
I say U2 when you look at the facts, and given they have a headstart by years. but it is hard because they are different genres in my book. give Greenday another 15 years or so and they might be the same.

U2, but I'm not a teenager. Green Day appeals more to the younger group. I've been a U2 fan since the Joshua Tree days, back in '87 or so. So they are sentimental for me. Plus, the greatest band ever!

I think U2 is more popular, but greenday is more popular to young people.

their both very popular...
but i prefer green day
i like ..a few songs from U2..but they dont really catch my attention

they are in totally different catergories. i personally love them both equally but for different reasons.
