I am alittle confused about what I am? I believe in God 100% & I believe that Jesus is is his son who died on the cross. I celebrate Christmas as the day we recognize as Jesus Christs birthday & I was brought up Lutheran. But I don't believe all that's in the Bible because man wrote it & I think that God made everyone & accepts everyone as they are icluding gays & lesbians, & I don't believe they are sinners. I believe in Heaven but I believe hell is a place that some people live in now with the misery some have. I do believe that you have to answer for eveything that you've done in life & before you can get to Heaven you will have to feel all the pain that you've caused others. My belief in the Christian religion was questioned because I don't believe everything in the Bible & the fact that I support gay marriage. Do you think that I'm a true Christian?

Sounds like you're a Christian of the truest sort - the kind who doesn't judge. Also, you're probably pretty smart if you don't believe every word in the bible. I'm a Christian, and a lesbian, and I try hard to do the right things in life and to treat others with kindness and love. If God is going to punish me for loving someone - same sex or not - then that's not the God that I know and love. You should be proud of being such a good - and non-judgemental Christian. Good for you (and the world)!

You are a true Christian. Because though you feel your confused, your not as confused as you think. Your showing God's greatest gift, love. Believe it or not there are Lesbian and Gay churches as well. There are plenty of books you can read on the subject and debates as well. But you seem to have a very open heart and you could certainly teach alot of people just by your example.

If you think that the bible was written by man then you should look into something else which is better than christianity. The word bible simply means "the book". The quran on the other hand means "recitation". Which is the word of GOD and was recited 1400 years ago by Prophet Muhammd(PBUH). It has not been tampered with by humans like bible has. You should really get a copy of the quran and try to study the quran and I promise it will change you forever.

The sooner you discard the crazy Christian propaganda, the more peaceful you will be! God is love. Hell? How can there be a Hell if God is Love? Man wrote the bible and used it to control the masses, not God.

The only qualification that I've ever heard to be Christian is to believe that Jesus was the son of God and is the savior of mankind. If you rely on other people for what you believe, there will ALWAYS be somebody who says you're not doing it right, no matter what it is you believe - so believe as you wish, and decide for yourself whether you're living the kind of life you believe is right.

I for one do NOT categorize myself. I feel as you do. I do NOT however believe in organized religion. There are way too many false prophets & liars who call themselves leaders in the religious community & they are ONLY in it for the money. If & when people ask if I am a Christian or??? I simply tell them that I believe in God & Jesus, but I do NOT believe in organized religion. Too many wars have been faught & too many people have died in the name of religion....I prefer to just be ME!!!! With "MY" own beliefs & opinions.... I will NOT be told what I should believe or not. I will NOT be told that we are not here to judge in one breath & then told that this, that or the other is a sin....
Don't worry about what others think you are, BE YOURSELF!!!!

All i Have to say is, God Is the ONE who judges..not me not you and not any one else...so its upto God to do whatever He wants..might i remind u that God is the most merciful..so that is one other factor to look upon..but in all three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity) they consider Gay/Lesbian sex unlawful ( a sin ) so idk but God is the One u have to worry about pray and pray and pray that u will be guided to the right path and God WILL answer u in SOMEWAY trust me...al u have to do is have FAITH!!
