A new recording Friday attributed to the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq mocked President Bush as a coward whose conduct of the war was rejected at the polls, challenging him to keep U.S. troops in the country to face more bloodshed.

I don't consider it to be real due to nonavailability of countenance. He is helping bush to get some sympathy from general public by creating fear. Actually these are the real friends of Mr. Bush.

I agree with the second Para of your additional info to your question. Such kind of drama were played in past and shall continue.

If you remember when bush was elected president for second time, a video was released one week before election by Osama bin laden threatening more attacks would take place like 9/11. It helped Bush to be elected for next 4 yrs. But nothing happened what was threatened.

These all names are dummy, imaginary and made in USA.

That message from Al-Qaida is all about rallying people to THEIR cause. It really has nothing to do with Bush. It's just a rah-rah way to get his own troops fired up.

I think it's pretty obvious that we cannot leave Iraq undefended against such zealots. It's only a question of how much work we need to put into Iraq before they can defend themselves, and how fast we can get that done.

Most Muslims don't buy into the al-Qaida philosophy, since most of them don't WANT to live in a Taliban-like religious police state.
